Unofficial Scenarios for top 3 places

Dave:

With 397 points and Andy not having any fighters, I'm pretty sure (note the unofficial in the post title) that the worst Dave can finish is 3rd.  And that would be quite an upset if he did finish that low.

Also unofficially, if Dave gets a win out of Thiago Silva OR Mike Pierce, I'm pretty sure that he will win it all.  If he doesn't get any points from those two fighters, he can still win it all. So, it's likely Dave will get 1st or 2nd.

Andy:

Andy is in 2nd with 391 points, and he can't get any higher.  He should be rooting for Jake Shields to beat Demian Maia and would still have enough points to keep 2nd away from Bill if Shields wins.  There is a possibility that Thomas can sneak in here too, but he would have to have all three of his fighters get some kind of bonus in addition to a first round submission or knockout.  So, it's likely that Andy will get 2nd or 3rd.

Nate:

With 382 points, a Demian Maia win over Jake Shields pretty much guarantees 2nd place  (again...unofficial).  In the event that both of Dave's fighters lose and Maia gets a knockout and/or a bonus of some kind, I can still take first.  I can also keep hold of third even if Bill gets a win with Shields over Maia....depending on the outcome.  So, I can get 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or possibly be out of the money altogether.

Bill:

With 365 points, Bill will need to have Jake Shields record some kind of knockout or submission to Demian Maia to have a chance at 3rd place.  He could get a win from Shields and still be SOL.  A first round knockout or sub with no bonus would mean Nate and Bill tie.  A knockout or sub bonus in any round would give Bill enough for 3rd place.

Thomas:

Jon has three fighters in this last event but needs 50 points from them and a Demian Maia loss to have any shot.  Unofficially he would need all three fighters to record first round knockouts and a couple of bonuses.  He's a long shot to place.
