SEASON 2...SEASON 3

It's official. The last event for Season 2 will be Saturday September 17 (UFC ON VERSUS--BATTLE ON THE BAYOU, FREE ON SPIKE).

The first event for Season 3 will be the following week Saturday, September 24 (UFC 135)

So I'd like to have the draft BEFORE that fight starts. I already mentioned that I don't want to have the draft the same day as the Dirty Dozen football draft etc. It's just too much.

I apologize if you have fighters that fight in UFC 135 on your Season 2 roster, I'm not out to give an advantage to anyone or try to screw anyone. I have to set a date and this will be it.

We're going to lose Andy I think, and we're going to gain at least a couple new people, so we'll discuss fees, payouts, etc.

As somewhat of a compromise for those that have expressed concern over the dates for Season 2 and Season 3, we will allow keepers to continue (No champions). So, Bones will get to keep Bones Jones even if he can't have UFC 135 count for Season 2. The new participants will hold a supplemental draft to catch up with their "keepers" (no champs), and then we will have the draft.

Please plan on being present before UFC 135 to have this draft or make other arrangements with a rankings list etc. There will be more weight classes as well, and I'll print out some kind of "magazine" again for everyone in the next couple months...although I'm not sure it will be as detailed since we've done this for a couple years now.
